I just wanted to confirm 100% that we won't be tested on alkenes. It's mentioned in ExamKrackers as not being tested, and the book was written a while ago so I just wanted to make sure that we should be skipping that bit?

Alkenes are not listed as one of the tested topics. However, you do need to know the bond properties of pi bonds as per covered in molecular bonding.
