Normal Force of incline plane

I was wondering for finding normal force which equation should I be using because CC say N=mg/cosθ but EK says N=mgcosθ So which one should I be using?

Fn = mgcosθ

Just think about it, there is only a normal force when there is a supporting surface, cos0=1 and cos90=0, so as the angle increases, normal force decreases.

I think you found the Fn=mg/cosθ from page 30 of the CC which is a specific example having to do with centripetal force. Page 24 and 25 has the explanation of normal force.

Yeah N=mgcos(theta) is for an inclined plane but N=mg/cos(theta) is for the banked roads example
