Hi Natasha,

Yes, but it can also depend on boiling point (which should track with polarity roughly).

Gas chromatography is a bit more complicated than TLC in reality, but for purposes of the MCAT, I would not worry too much about these subtleties, as they would likely be covered in a passage.
