Hello !

I was just a bit confused on how to go about solving the question on page 111 in the lab techniques section and was wondering if you can perhaps guide me step by step in determining the number of peaks, just cant seem to wrap my head around it !

Hi,

Please let me know if this is still unclear - equivalent carbons are hard to wrap your head around at first, but once you have them down NMR is much simpler because it is just variations of the same thing.
