Hi,
Can a 90 degree phase shift between two waves result in constructive and destructive interference?

Thanks

This is an excellent question!

Yes, typically you'd be seeing areas of both constructive and destructive interference based on where the waves line up and whether they were in our out of phase to begin with.

Here's an example: https://astronomy.swin.e...estructive+Interference

Hope this helps!
