Hi,

Just to confirm, is cortisol a steroid hormone?

I was confused because the table of hormones in Chapter 5 of the Endocrine unit in the Bio EK book (pg. 94) says it's a tyrosine derivative hormone. However, other places in the books say it's a steroid hormone.

Thanks!!
