Hydrostatic pressure and osmotic pressure

Hey,

Just looking for some clarification. Let me know if the following is correct:

-arterioles have high hydrostatic pressure and low osmotic pressure
-capillary have relatively stable osmotic pressure, but high hydrostatic pressure at arteriole end and low hydrostatic pressure at venule end
-venules have low osmotic pressure and high hydrostatic pressure
• osmotic – result from proteins and Na+ (solutes), inward pulling force
• hydrostatic – result from water/solvent, outward pushing force

Great Mike, However just remember the osmotic pressure is the same in arterioles and venules. The difference is that the hydrostatic pressure in arterioles is relatively greater than the osomotic pressure compared to venules where the hydrostatic pressure is relatively weaker.
