How Do Cells Take In DNA Bases?

Most importantly, where does the cell store the extra DNA bases that it doesn't need? Cytoplasm? Thanks!

When DNA is broken down (due to mutations, aging etc) there is contestant turnover and bases are recycled wherever possible. Your other question is far beyond the scope of the MCAT.
