Hi there,
I was wondering if we are expected to know the difference between electrophilic and nucleophilic functional groups as it wasn't mentioned in the Class Companion but it was mentioned in the EK book.
Kind regards,
Lavaneyaa

Hi,
Being able to distinguish between nucleophiles and electrophiles is one of the items on the MCAT syllabus. It tends not to be mentioned explicitly in the CC as we tend to practice it during the instructor coverage of the CC in lecture.
