I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on knowing how to calculate the inverse sin (critical angle) ?

Hello! I personally like to use the method of special triangles for this. Try to approximate whatever is in the brackets to a special triangle (ex: sin^(-1)(8/15) ~ sin(-1)(1/2) = 30 degrees). Others like to use the unit circle which also works well. Hope this helps!
