Hi there,

For this question I am confused why Cu(s) is forming and not Al(s). In the table provided in the passage it shows that new solid is formed with Cu2+ and Al(s) but no change for Al3+ and Cu(s) so I assumed that the overall reaction would be option A because it is balanced and is forming Al(s).

Thanks,
Emma

Hi Emma,

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the AAMC questions. Could you provide more information for me on this question?

Sorry for the inconvenience,
