Hi,

From your experience, do you find that students normally perform about the same, better or worse on the actual MCAT compared to the AAMC full length exams? I know that they are the most representative but I have also heard that people have found them easier than the actual exam so I wanted to see how student's scores usually compare.

Thank you

We wish we could give you a definitive answer but opinions from experienced MCAT-takers are all over the map on this question (easier, harder, about the same). Check out some of these threads on Reddit (there are plenty more):

https://www.reddit.com/r...ctice_tests_to_the_real/
https://www.reddit.com/r...so_called_practice_aamc/

There seems to be a hint of consensus that the actual MCAT is a bit more difficult than the Practice Exams but the equating process adjusts for such variations so scaled scores tend to be consistent across both.
