Hi there,

I'm two weeks out from my MCAT, and I just did AAMC FL1 and I dropped 9 point compared to my last altius test (altius 4) to FL1. Is there any way to circumvent this issue?

Hi, I'm also concerned about this. I just completed my first AAMC test. While my raw percentage of correct answers remained consistent with my Altius tests, my scored dropped by 6 points. Is this to be expected? And are Altius scores generally inflated? Thanks

Questions on Altius Practice Tests are, on average, more difficult than on AAMC Practice Exams so the same raw score on both will translate to a higher scaled score on Altius than on AAMC. We know it's much easier said than done but don't read too much into the results on one practice test. Progress is uneven and usually includes setbacks. Persevere and you will often be pleasantly surprised by a quick rebound from a disappointing score on a practice test. In particular, your raw scores on AAMC should creep up to a higher level than on Altius and your scaled scores will follow.
