Hello,
Do viruses only need a host cell to grow? Can they live in vivo and in vitro on a host cell?

Thanks

Hi Sukham,

Yes, you should theoretically only need a host cell to "grow" a virus, as the virus will infect that cell and use it to make copies of itself.

I hope this helps!
