I am wondering if gene linkage and crossover breaks the Law of Segregation, Independent Assortment, or both? Thanks

Hello Juliette,

Crossing over/linked genes are an exception to Mendel's law of segregation as the genes are not inherited independently.

Hope this helps, happy studying!
