Hi,

I'm confused about what exactly this question is asking.

I interpreted it as assume few humans think about anything, except about their immediate surroundings. i.e. they do not think about their immediate surroundings.

However, it seems like it's supposed to be the other way around, so assume few humans do not think about anything, and only think about their immediate surroundings.

Could you explain which one is what the question is asking and why that is?

Thanks!!

This question can be taken to literally be saying that humans think only about their immediate surroundings (since few humans think about anything except for their immediate surroundings).
